​​​I am currently exploring the use of art and natural pigments with children with diverse abilities and needs. 

​

​My attempt is to move natural pigments away from the inaccessible, fashionable facets and shed light to the idea that color is everywhere and has been a part of our lives for thousands of years.

Despite sometimes having an idea in mind, my creative process is often experimental, intuitively brought on by the feelings at hand and brush that often unfolds in surprising and unexpected ways. Every tune and movement is hoped to be inspired by natural feelings that arise and move the subject along.  I enjoy embracing this creative process in my daily life and work life.  From using art to support families and children with special needs in the therapy context to teaching children art classes, every experience is a new adventure to learn, grow and lean into the moment of color and creativity.
